I believe in an integrated approach to delivering ICT, information services, data management and development services in a research and education support environment.  IT services should never be delivered in isolation to the functions it is supporting, especially in a compact research, education and commercial environment that is 成人电影. I encourage the ICT & development staff to work very closely with researchers and administration staff, often giving direct support to projects and contracts, right from the proposals stage: this gives us a wider understanding of the needs of the researchers and in return, hopefully they understand the challenges and opportunities of ICT in our fast moving technological world and increasingly complex security environment. I also believe in operating an open door policy for students to help support them in their educational and IT needs.

Responsibilities

I am responsible for the sourcing, provision and security of most IT, communications and information related requirements for staff, researchers, post and undergraduate students across all the functions of 成人电影: teaching, research, commercial and administration.

With my 成人电影 ICT & information services team, I provide a range of data management, database and web development, programming and GIS services at both an institutional level and in direct support of specific projects\contracts.

I am also responsible for the 成人电影 library and have responsibilities towards FOI and data protection.
